If you agree to take a position with them, they take $30 out of your first paycheck as a "placement fee". You don't find that out unless you go into their office and fill out all of their paperwork. I applied for a job this Ameristaff office advertised on Indeed and drove 30 miles one way to their office and completed their application process to be told that "the company had a machine down and they were waiting for a part" so they could not give me a start date "but they would be calling me soon". I was sexulally harrased by a co worker and was treated like I did something wrong. They knew that I was given meds by a doctor when I started but used that as a reason to let me go rt after I reported the sexual harrassment.

I was laid off during bereavement leave for lack of productivity, they lied to the unemployment office saying I refused to bring proof I went to a funeral.

I was placed at a job and was let go due to a guy stating that he could not work with a black boy. he lied to ameristaff. I was let go without anyone hearing my side of the incident. I requested the number for the EOEC to file a discrimination claim and was told by Dianna that they will not give me the number to file a claim. I have a family to take care of and was wrongfully terminated. I worked my but off for the company I was placed at and feel that the situation should have been treated differently.
