We had our mitigation system put in two years ago. The installation went well and all involved were very helpful in explaining things. The two year follow up put us at a radon reading far below where we were before getting the system and far into the “safe zone” . This has given us security in knowing we are no longer at risk for radon. We highly recommend this company.
The installation was done quickly and looks great. The technician made sure everything was sealed up and cleaned up.
I cannot recommend this business. Seller left money w/company to mitigate by Jan 10 and I am still waiting to use my basement on April 22. Poor communication and disregard for accuracy of information shared w/me has made this project difficult and untimely. Recently discussed my concerns with Neal Peter, GM who told me I lied concerning the circumstances of service. Working with Ameriserv was great. Quick to schedule and the work was done very professionally. The team came in, created a plan, confirmed with me prior to beginning work. My results prior to instal were 4.0. After was a .7 I highly recommend using them.
Seller here who Ameriserv came to house I'm selling to do a radon inspection. They called me to get the combo to access my house, and I asked them specifically - "please leave exterior lights on, and lock all locks." Caller said, "great, I'll tell the tech right now." The house is vacant, and we're trying to do anything we can to deter vandals. Came back to the house a day later: deadbolt wasn't locked, both front and rear exterior lights were off.
