have tried to get our delivery for almost 2 weeks they don't look at the instructions to see when someone is home. they promise to deliver on the following weekend and no show and no call. they show up the following Monday and again no one is home. I will be looking for another propane company that knows how to follow directions

"I scheduled an appointment with AmeriGas to come to my rental property to relight the pilot light, or whatever the situation was because I had no heat in the house. 7 years after my husband died, their overseas office said that they could not talk to me until I sent a death certificate, which was done 7+ years ago. I have spoken to them before many times with no issue. In September they were to deliver gas to my farm and took $671.+ out of my account. A few weeks ago the tank went dry. Zero if I could assign one! Amerigas Propane came on our property yesterday and removed/stole our tank. They do not own the tank, we do. They did not even knock on the door. We have videos. We have never had an account with AmeriGas. We purchased the home in the last 5 months. Right now I consider this theft They do not keep accurate records, beware....!!!

Let me start by saying, if you can convert to power, always do so! It's worth the pay, trust me! There's nothing worse than being stuck with a company because changing over from 1 propane company to another takes minimum 1-2 months, don't be stuck like me!!! As a 25 year long customer, I'm going to say I HATE this company. My hot water heater went out so for awhile there I didn't need to refill my propane. Horrible place to do business with. I came home to my tank sitting their truck. I asked the guy why he had the tank on his truck. He said he had a removal order to take the tank. When I asked who told you to do this, he gave me the name of the previous owner. "Sir I've owned the place for a few years and you're just getting around to removing a tank with the old owners name on the work order." Horrible company. They have missed several delivery dates and still don't have propane yet delivered. I would have them come remove the tank but I don't trust them to do it. Tank date is 1962 so I dought they'd even want it. Promised delivery today or tomorrow but I've heard that so many times I don't trust them. Will take a other day off work probably for nothing so I can put my dog up. No local office open anymore so don't bother going to try to talk to anyone.

Gave one star but wanted to give them a 0. Called them to quote burying a 500lb tank to hook up to a pool heater we were going to be buying. In the future we were going to hook up a stove and a whole home generator. I was told it would be $99.00 for them to come out and look at the site. I told her that I was not going to pay out $99.00 to have them come out. She then lowered the cost and I ended up paying $66.83 for them to come out.
