Customer service is based out of the US. They do not communicate well with delivery drivers. I have two tanks. One was empty. Called for refill. Explained very carefully which tank needed filled. They came out, topped off the half full tank, and left the empty one empty. I was without heat for 5 days .
I've been trying to get someone from this company to respond to my messages, with no luck. I want you people to come pickup your tank as I have hired another provider. My reason for seeking alternative provider was very simple. Amerigas doesn't have any customer service in America! Every time I call for customer service i always got someone in the Philippines, India or some other country outside of the US. The People were rude & of no help! Propane was too expensive for the price of the barrel of oil. I've paid much less for propane with much higher oil prices. AmeriGas Propane stated that my price is higher because of where I live within their area. Really? I'm only 12-13 miles from their location in Leitchfield, KY. Also, when calling for a quote on propane, I was charged .10/gallon more when I ordered for a delivery online less than 24hrs the next day!
Company states they filled tank to 40% today… this is the second time they have lied about how much they filled… I called it in at 25% (“luis” confirmed via his records I called in at 25%)…. Then Luis said his tech said it was at 30% and he filled it up to 40%… so tell me why it’s now only at 30%…. Here’s the reality…They only filled 5%…. Not to mention the order was supposed to be for 70%… DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY
Terrible customer service. Quoted one price on phone but billed higher price. Took weeks to deliver and ran out of propane. Complained multiple times. Will look other places for propane in the future.
