I am at my wits end. I have an old rusted, rented tank from 1972 that I inherited when buying my home. When we transfered services into my name 2 years ago, I requested a new tank, which never happened. Fast forward to May of this year. We are getting our furnace replaced. The valve on the rusted, crappy propane tank broke when the HVAC guys shut of the gas. We have been trying to get Amerigas to schedule a tank exchange ever since. Telephone is disconnected! We’re supposed to be on a plan where they make sure our buried tank is filled when it’s getting low. Apparently that didn’t work since in the middle of cooking, my tank ran dry. So I tried to call the office in Martinsville and the number is no longer connected?! I double checked on the website after logging in to my account. I have the right number but it doesn’t work anymore!
Driver was kind and considerate. I have a concern my propane tank is sinking into the ground ? I find it to be very concerning? Should someone check it out from your company?
