Apparently the gauge is incorrect on my tank so I don’t really have any idea if I’m being taken advantage of by the delivery driver. How would I know if they didn’t put propane in a friends or their tank before making my delivery and not reset the meter so it looks like my tank took that other propane? My tank showed about 49% in tank as well as AmeriGas monitor on tank and online showed about the same. Estimated delivery 185 vs 239.9 and they claim my gauge must have been stuck. Gas received easily and before getting low.
Terrible service. We were supposed to have a delivery between Feb 11th and 17th. The 18th we call because we ran our of propane and now have no heat on the coldest week so far this winter. Call for an emergency delivery to be told they'll have it within 24 hours. Call the next day because we haven't heard anything and now it's 2 days until they can deliver. My house is 40 degrees I have two small children and no heat. Customer service was absolutely no help.
Um. The people who answer the phone are very polite BUT they are not local! They are just trying to smooth things over. Almost patronizing because so much is out of their hands!!
