We love these guys! They are super knowledgeable, professional and friendly. Im new to town and had concerns about a gas leak, I was treated with respect and they went above and beyond the call to ensure that my family and I were safe. we had a followup call that was very pleasant and feel safe with this company as our supplier.
I am on oxygen and can no longer use propane. I have a full tank of gas and they will pick up the tank but not refund me for the gas in the tank. This is a poor business practice. I paid for it once and they would resell it again and make double the profit. I discourage anyone from doing business with this company they are worse than Shaw.
My elderly father was a customer with Amerigas for a few years. When he reached the point that he couldn't attend to his finances anymore my sister and I took over. We found that Amerigas was charging anywhere from $3.80 to $4.72 per gallon for propane they delivered over a two year period. The highest price that propane reached over that period was $3.20 at other places. When I asked about why this was I was told by the manager that that was the daily market rate that day. Love this App, it is better than the Phone Book
Removed a tank from my property and hit my deck damaged it . I called them they came out and looked at the deck and said they would repair it , and of course no one has ever showed to make the repairs. Filed a complaint with the BBB. They called me up and said the would send a contractor out to make the repair, That never happened so I will make the repairs my self. Take a look at the complaints on the BBB site.
promptness only if you pay the extra. This company has to many provisions & so called rules. If you're not a regular customer than it's this much..If you are then it's this much & if not yet & will be than you'll need to get the 1st fill up at ... & then get entered into an agreement which is about .20- to .25 cents more a gallon for 600 gallons per year.. If under you're gonna pay more.. WTH.. lol.. Just stick with Freds.. They have what I see the best overall prices..
We have always had propane heat and had always used Boland until they sold out to Heritage Propane/Amerigas and we didn't have a choice but to use them. I'm throwing this out there in case you use Heritage Propane and have never paid attention to their prices. Their propane is priced up to $1 a gallon higher than others in the area. Absolutely the worst! Can never get in touch with a human day or night. Keep fill basis means nothing to them, so when you run out, refer to my previous statement. After 12 years as a pre-buy customer with them, I've had it and moved on. Yes, there are other places to deal with in the verde valley.
Amerigas is charging $0.83 per gallon more than other local propane companies. Please call around and check prices.
