Ordered on 1/29 but delivery was not scheduled till 2/9-2/16. Delivery on 2/9 was attempted with no call text or email in advance. 2/9 delivery was canceled by the driver stating an icy driveway even though my notes stated a access road behind the house where the tank is located. 2/9 called and was told 1 - 2 days for next delivery attempt. 2/12 called left a message due to no delivery. 2/17 called due to no delivery and tank at 6%. Order propane a week and a half goes by nothing tanks almost empty have to call him back. They tell you you have to pay an extra $300 for an emergency fill. I do that 24 hours goes by nothing call him back. They told me they don’t offer emergency fills, but yet took my money. Long story short my tank was at about 8% before they finally showed up to fill my tank keep in mind I asked and paid to be filled and when they finally did show up with my product, I got 51%. contacted amerigas multiple times each time was told my problem was being escalated and never got any response for issue. Then told I was going to get a phone call yesterday never got one. Update removed tank and was charged 400$ for removal fee after being told there was no charge for my tank to be removed.
All staff members I’ve dealt with are very professional and friendly. After purchasing our 500 gallon underground tank our first fill was discounted. The second and third fills went through the roof and customer service drastically went down. All calls to customer service are sent through a call center in India which turned me off from this company for good. For the last 5 years, we have used a local company that is fantastic. Will never used AmeriGas ever again.
Even if you call at 30% they still won’t deliver until you almost run out of propane. I hate this company and they don’t deserve anyone’s business. They quite literally don’t care if you need to head your house.
