If I could do zero stars I would!! The worst at communicating I have ever seen.Same as above. We are new customers with exiting tanks and have signed up over a week ago. Was told delivery would be performed and no on ever showed up. Now about to run out and its 25 degrees tonight. They sent a text saying no one was here and my office is literally beside my front door and driveway!! They never came! Been on hold a combined 5 hours with no answer, just elevator music. In 2024, I contacted Amerigas about purchasing our tank. After multiple unproductive conversations with customer service, I requested to speak with a supervisor. The supervisor directed me to 'review my contract,' emphasizing our commitment to the initial 3-year term. They mentioned that ending the contract early would incur a penalty fee and that selling us the tank was not an option. She informed us that the tanks have a lifespan of approximately 20 years. We bought our own 1000 gallon propane tank for our renovated home. So we can buy from "anyone". I searched the market, found Amerigas to not only have the best pricing, but also attentive service. The acid test of any company is "how they act when something goes wrong". We had one hiccup, but Amerigas Management was "right on it" and it was resolved. Go Amerigas! We look forward to working with them for many years to come.
NEVER, NEVER get involved with AmeriGas! Home office is helpful when you can reach them but "local" is nearly impossible. If I had the money to tell AmeriGas where to put THEIR rust bucket tank, I would so I could PURCHASE a tank for her AND get the much better service she pays for. 1- It is ALWAYS a hassle when my mother needs gas. 2- She gets county assistance which AmeriGas receives but they still bill her because they delay posting the payment to her account. 3- She request they tell the driver to leave a delivery ticket... read more
