I was on hold for over a 30 minutes just to find out why my delivery didn’t happen today. Then they put me back on hold because they said my tank needed to be replaced and I needed to talk to the service department. After an hour and 15 minutes I just gave up! This is crazy! I remember when I used to be able to call the office and talk to someone and not be on hold for over an hour. You guys better wake up. You’re not the only propane company in town.
THEY CHARGED ME FOR A DISPATCH WHICH WAS NEVER DONE. I WAITED OVER AN HOUR ON HOLD ON THE PHONE TO PROTEST THIS. WHILE WAITING I DID INITIATE A CHAT ONLINE AND THAT TOOK 27 MINUTES AND PUT IN MY PROTEST VIA THE CHAT. THEY THEN CALLED ME BACK AND REFUSED TO CREDIT ME FOR THE CHARGE. The charge was for $119 for a dispatch which never should have occurred. I called on a Sunday late PM and reported there was a leak but it stopped once I turned off the valve at the tank. Website makes ordering, delivery and payment very easy to manage.
Wish I didn’t even have to give them one star. My gas usage has increased tremendously with no explanation from AmeriGas. Ever since they came out and did something on my tank that they wanted to do at their request, not mine, my usage has skyrocketed. I only have an instant hot-hot water tank. 250 gallon tank for propane and I’m going through gas like crazy. They want to charge me to come out and see what the problem is.
