My 78-year-old father has been out of propane for his stove since Monday. Today is Friday! They are telling me on Monday that someone called to cancel his account which is not possible cuz he's the only one that was on his account And I can guarantee he did not cancel it.My father has been with this company for 55 years. So sad. Customer service is a joke. They told me I had to wait 48 hours so they could reinstate his account. Their customer service is a JOKE! We have three large tanks that usually last us around three months, on Sunday we woke up to no hot water, no heat, and no stove due to one of THEIR tanks that we PAY MONTHLY for isn’t working. It is completely full, but whoever filled it last tighten the valve so hard it won’t budge. Terrible customer service. For a corporate experience where you get stuck on the phone for extended periods of time and then get talked down to you can’t go wrong with AmeriGas. Good luck! In response to AmeriGas's response to my review: Thank you but I am not interested in wasting any more of my time. Over the last two days your convoluted phone service, where we were transferred over and over again, cost me over 3+ hours of my time just to set up an account in an effort to get a tank filled. Absolutely terrible. I switched suppliers in October of 2024 due to exorbinant fees. I communicated this with Amerigas, and after several more correspondances, (with one reply in November) their tank is STILL on my property. I may start charging them a daily storage fee since they are so inclined to take advantage of their customers.
