We will not be using Amerigas in the future. We called at 8am Saturday to inquire about a noise we heard after we shut off the gas from the tank the evening before and we're told we needed to evacuate our home because its probably an emergency and they'd send someone within 24 hours. We said, that timeframe would not work for us and they said they would elevate out ticket and send someone sooner adn give us a call. 5 hours pass with the whole family including the dog in the car and we call to inquire about service. Always on time and schedule
1. Amerigas closed our local offices. Relationships were destroyed and now we must deal with a call center. 2. The Amerigas call center is dysfunctional. The people with whom one speaks cannot be trusted to give you the best price. Everything is a game. 3. Generally, Amerigas prices are the highest in the area. 4. Amerigas changed us from commercial to residential, thus further increasing the cost of product. While we must continue using LP, we have been successful in cutting our usage by more than 50%.
