This is the single worst company I have worked with in the 25 years I have lived in Florida. There are hidden charges in everything they do. I had to call nine times over the course of 30 days to get them to pick up their tank, despite being given 48 hours' notice to do so, are per Florida law. Then they charged me $149 to break my tank lease, which I never had; $119 to schedule an appointment that they didn't show up for eight times; and $299 to pick up the tank. Worst company ever, talked to 3 different supervisors that I never heard back from going on 2 weeks. Was hung up multiple times.
After MANY problems with Amerigas - mainly being charged for a delivery they never intended on bringing and having to fight for a year to be reimbursed- we decided to go with another company. We had their tank removed and a new one put in. Their tank has been sitting in front of my house for 3 weeks! They’ve been notified at least 6 times now and we keep getting a run around. The absolute WORST customer service I’ve ever had. Save yourself time and money and find another company.
It's a long and ugly story. We had a site visit on 16 June to determine what size tank we need for a new generator and where it should be placed. There was no mention that there would be a charge for the site visit and we got an invoice for $280. After three weeks, there was still no proposal. This caused us to have to postpone the installation of the generator which is troublesome because it is hurricane season. I made numerous calls to the local offices to the numbers I was provided.
