Do not recommend! Amerigas tried to rip me off. They charged a different amount for propane fill then what was quoted. They did the same to me last year but I was able to grab a screenshot of the quoted rate. Their call centers are outsourced and the CS reps really don't give a crap if they help out. I had to call the emergency line to get a local rep but they still have not adjusted my bill. I WILL NOT make a payment unless you correct the billing mistake!
Don't even think about hiring this company. The phone tree is an endless labyrinth where you'll never encounter anything but a recorded voice or someone who doesn't have a clue how to help you other than to send you back to phone tree purgatory. From my experience with them, I'm convinced that Amerigas has actually stopped providing any useful services and just sends out bills and threatening collections to generate revenue.
I paid for propane weeks and weeks ago and I have had to call and beg for my propane to be delivered. They sent a technician out within a few days to check the tank. Now it is at 9% and they still won’t deliver but keep saying it’s ‘routed for delivery tomorrow’ and if I want a refund I have to wait for a check in the mail. This is, without a doubt, the actual worst company of all time to deal with. My level of tolerance to deal with BS is very high but this company’s level of incompetence is absolutely mind blowing. The fact they are still in business is difficult to comprehend. Today was the final straw. After proactively calling for two weeks to get our tank filled knowing the temperatures would be dropping soon, with zero response, we finally got through to someone today who said they would charge a $300 “emergency” fill fee.
