Terrible when it comes to getting deliveries of propane. During the Fires, I was scheduled for delivery and they didn't show. Called customer service and they were of no help. In case of emergency, Amerigas is not dependable. I stuck with the company even though the prices were not competitive but now getting propane is difficult through the company, I have to find other options.
Horrific service. Consistently told lies and misinformation. Left without gas and heating for four days. Also not the cheapest guys out there, so would expect far more for a company of this size. Would recommend looking elsewhere for your Gas supplier.
Very bad experience. No wonder their ratings are very low. They used to have a local office you could speak to. Now all calls route overseas and those reps can't remedy things. We've been overcharged multiple times because they keep doing WEEKLY gas deliveries even though we've told them over and over to only deliver MONTHLY. Why would they do that? I have been using this company for 20 years+, in the past they had good service and a local number. Now their phones transfer out of country. Our company is supposed to be on automatic delivery, they are not showing up, we have 2-3 days of propane left and are being quoted a 2-week lead time for refill unless we pay a $323 emergency delivery fee.
