Despite paying tank rental fees they do not check to make sure tank is serviceable, not leaking etc. They just come and throw the gas in—they don’t have to do any tank checks per the customer service line. So basically they rent you a product they don’t guarantee is serviceable, well-functioning, etc. how is this legal? She wanted to charge me 140 dollars to have the technician do a tank check on their tank that we rent! Crazy. They charge us tank rental fees twice a year. The absolute worst company to work with. Customer service never speaks English. They never deliver their own time and they’re always the most expensive.
*AMERIGAS IS HORRIBlE- The customer service department is a JOKE!!!I would give this company zero stars if I could. I have been a long time customer on auto refill. I have run out of propane twice in the last six months. I have had to call the company and literally BEG them to send someone out to fill the tank. I placed a work order through my online account as they suggested. The company stated that they would be there within 24 hours. 72 hours later ….. we still had no propane ! I have two year old twins. This is the absolute worst company! They charge you numerous fees and don’t give you any notification before charging them. $400 in fees alone, after they came to pick up the tank because their service is terrible.
