Terrible. And customer service was a joke.
Been a customer for many years and always had good service until they charged me tank rental for 12 cylinders.(I have one by the way). I have been calling since the beginning of January. And am told the problem will be fixed. Feb 7 I was told it would be fixed in 5 days. It is now Feb 20. Its still there. Promised again. I was going to go to the office in Frederick , but guess what, they are no longer open to the public. They used to have a wonderful lady there that always helped. Ugggg!! R. Vallaster
Once again was horrible about delivering. Missed the window of between 10/24-10/27. Notified would deliver 10/24. Evening of 10/24, notified would not be delivered. Notified would be delivered 10/28. Not delivered, no notification. Had to turn heat off so I wouldn’t run out. Called 10/29, told was scheduled for 10/30. Actually scheduled it right then while on the phone as notification link updated as he was telling me I was scheduled. Was not delivered on 10/30. Had to call again 10/31. I have 4 propane tanks, and one of them gives me no gas. It is full, but no gas comes out. I tried it on 3 different appliances - same result - and the other 3 tanks work fine. So I assume the safety valve inside is stuck. I tried to exchange this for another full one. Tried an Amerigas gas station, no luck. Tried Amerigas at Sam's Club, no luck. Worst customer service, EVER!!! We're doing renovations and wanted to talk with Amerigas about existing tank that has been in the ground for 25 years and possible install of whole house generator, and need for new tank. When technician arrived he informed me there would be a charge for consultation. I had quotes from other gas companies, who didn't charge for consultation or advice on propane needs.
