The delivery guys are great but this has been the worst company I have ever had to deal with. There customer service is overseas and has no power or conection to get you to anyone who can do something. They take forever to fill a tank. I received a call that propain is coming and need to be home and they don't show up nor call and reschedule...nothing as if they don't care and will get to you when it's convenient for them. Horrible customer service. It is not possible to speak to someone locally or even someone in the United States. It is nearly impossible to get out of their contract. They want a huge amount of money to remove the tank and cancel the contract. There are local companies with local customer service and better pricing.
I am very pleased with the service I have received from AmeriGas.
I have had AmeriGas for 5 years or more. Always paid my bill and their RIDICULOUS price they charge for propane til I just couldn't afford to fill my 500 gal tank at 4.70 a gal anymore twice a year. I have had several problems along the way with over charges that were resolved through many phone calls however the fact that I cant speak on the phone to a person I understand left me confused to why I owe them $500 to come and pick up an empty tank that belongs to their company when I found a great company that locked me in at ... read more
