I have been without heat for almost the entirety of February. This is the second winter that they have been completely unresponsive towards trying to schedule service delivery and we went from January to June without service last year. I was supposed to have someone out today to finally reconnect our gas and they called, hung up before saying hello, and cancelled our appointment with no other communication and no explanation. Please find someone else.
If you care about your family, your sanity or your wallet stay far away from this company. AmeriGas Propane has abandoned my family. I have spent several hours on for the last 6 days being lied to by this pathetic excuse for a company that my propane delivery was coming "the next day," after I paid $300 for an emergency delivery 6 days ago. This company gets a lot of hate and some of it is deserved. But I had a great experience with this office in particular that I’d like to share. With the recent storm and cold weather, my house burned through our propane pretty quick. By the time I was able to dig out the filling receptacle? We were down to 5%. I called the customer service line and the (clearly outsourced) reps were happy to set me up with a delivery. Slide the tandem and go around the building just like showing in the picture. They have a portable dock.. quick unloading outside. Trailer got wet inside because it was raining and forklift in and out. I think you can park overnight at the gravel road before you get to the gate.
TERRIBLE customer service. Our tank gauge broke and it ran out unknowingly. We ordered new propane (be prepared to wait 2-3 weeks) and its 20° outside. It has been 45° or less in my house, at night about 40°. Space heaters are short circuiting my electric system. Me and my cats are very cold. I tried to call for an emergency next day delivery (they previously told me they could do) for $300. Apparently they can't "in this district".
