AmeriGas Local or Nationwide Avoid this company if at all possible. Communicating with them is almost impossible and always frustrating. The only reason I gave them a one star review was there was no lower rating. We Canceled the service in late this 2023 summer, we have a small lake home cabin in the Albany/Avon area on Two Rivers Lake. Called to get quote on a residential set up for propane. Waited 45 mins on the phone for my call to be addressed and then finally hung up. I'm fairly certain the call center is in another state and not handled locally in Avon, but this doesn't reflect well on the company overall. My business was given to a different LP company.

I get charged yearly for tank rent despite taking at least a tank per year, and often get a bill for more than the price that I locked in at. I have needed to call and complain nearly every tank fill for the past few years!
