Was called to confirm an appointment I didn’t make.after speaking with amerigas I was informed it was a simple safety check.Tech showed up pressure tested line again same as previous person had done then left.Then received a bill for $470 for safety check.After calling customer services I waited 45 mins to talk to billing who couldn’t answer questions about charges on bill.transferred me to service which was another 1hr wait. BE VERY AWARE if you plan to use AmeriGas! 1) Their Customer Service is overseas, very hard to understand and not helpful at all 2) They charge my father $4.75 a gallon for propane! THAT's highway robbery when the average price for propane in VA in February was $3.51 (and that was HIGH for the national average)! I do NOT recommend Amerigas. Look at Fosters or Suburban.
They are responsive, quick, and extremely helpful. Very pleased with their service!
Not really good I heat my house with propane and I am on there watch list and ran out called and called over and over was out for 10 days cold in the house but when you talk to people in Kenya and Europe to take care of a problem in the US does not make sense so I am going to say AmeriGas company does not care about there customers or how warm they are
