Teams Gulf 1 and Bayou 1 joined us at the USS KIDD Veterans Museum to assist in some restoration, renovation, and exhibit building projects. The team members were enthusiastic and hard-working. They are always welcome to partner with the KIDD crew. Well done!
For the previous 2 days, a team from AmeriCorps NCCC Southern Region worked to clean up storm/flood damage to the Women's Restoration Shelter in Vicksburg, Mississippi. I have never met a finer group of young men and women. They were not only diligent and thorough in completing the work, they went far above and beyond expectations.
