Always enjoy the Americ Inn of Austin MN
Could have been cheaper. Weird homeless person talking to herself in breakfast area.
The staff very friendly and helpful. Rooms clean. Would recommend this place for anyone.
We booked a room for August 4. She said we got the last room. Told them that we would be very late. We arrived there at 1:30am and was told they have no rooms showed them the confirmation number and was told that it means nothing. And that the girl that took my reservations was new and booked it for August 3. I called that night, for a room on Friday. They charged me for a no show. They over booked and left us hanging. Was told the Manager would call us in the morning to get it off my Credit card. No call from him. I have ca... read more
My family and I broke down on the interstate and had to stay here for 2nights while we got our truck fixed. It was Very clean and the staff was extremely helpful and friendly. Also the breakfast was delicious, we have 3 growing boys and they all got full (that's unheard of lol) On top of that the city of Austin, MN was so cute, well kept and inviting. I'd definitely go back.
