8/22- Today was the 4th time I brought my truck in for a simple tire rotation and the 4th time Stanford Ranch Americas Tire got it wrong. The first two times all I wanted was for them to leave tire pressure as is, and was assured at desk it would be, but nope, they changed it. Had it higher for towing and they dropped it both times to 35. 3rd time left and driving down road and hear something, pull over its my center cap, missing screws. The absolute worst customer service! Safe to say I will NEVER shop there again. I have shopped and bought several sets of tires. JASON and the register, absolute horrible behavior.
Update 8/14/26 Been using Americas Tire for a very long time and this Rocklin store for almost ten years. Something has changed for the worse. Management, employees (see management), not really sure? Used to be friendly, efficient and professional. We had a problem and were given a round around like I’ve never encountered. My wife’s friend swears by Les Schwab telling us about the home town feel and personal service. Looks like we’ll be going there from now on. Today was the second time the guys have broken a stud on my car. What turned out to be a simple flat repair turned into another inconvience. Another appt. at a different shop. Fees I wasn’t expecting. Can’t guys just stock some studs and replace them when you break them?? Wouldn’t that be better customer service?
Took forever.. people ahead of me and behind me came and went and I was left not started. How does a rotate and balance take 2.5 hours when everyone else is in and out. Am I the only one getting rotate and balance? The receipt at the end stated the 3.5 hours to the minute that it was estimated and that was time it took. This appears to be a purposeful time delay to make the estimates accurate. I had to insist on them inflating tires to the psi I specified and yes it was under max.
