With its colorful front garden and stage coach centerpiece, this place looks more like a bed and breakfast than a budget motel. However, the red neon "Vacancy/No Vacancy" sign is a dead giveaway. Still, as far as motels go, this one isn't bad. Large guest rooms are available on a recently renovated property in a peaceful neighborhood. The landscaping is very pretty. Guest amenities even include a sauna and one or two rooms have fireplaces.

Loved staying at the cozy & conveniently located Stage Coach while visiting Monterey, Point Lobos, and Carmel-by-the-Sea! Clean, comfy rooms and really friendly & nice staff. If you like and are able to walk, location is in a cute neighborhood you can walk through down to the water. Also located close to a bus stop to get you to the aquarium or you can walk a bit to pick up the free local trolley.
Pretty good place for how cheap it was. Clean bathroom, clean room. Free parking , and everything we went to was within a 5-10 minute drive so pretty good location too. Don’t expect much with the “pool” though, personally didn’t go in but looked quite small.
This was a great, easy stay. Really appreciated the location, as well as the cleanliness of the room and comfortableness of the beds! Would absolutely stay here again.
Very spacious and nice rooms. Well kept. Highway can be heard from the room at times, specifically the intersection. Lacking a fitness center or any food options on site.
