This little hotel sits in the shadow now of a Hampton Inn, but it's usually less expensive. We stayed here many times before the Hampton was opened, and on my recent visit I was pleased to see that rooms have been updated. The front desk staff is always friendly, the rooms are clean, and I feel safe staying here as a woman traveling alone. Unless you're burning cash, feel free to skip the expensive hotel next door and stay at America's Best. My one complaint is that the complimentary breakfast is subpar, all pre-packaged. This place was awesome! Great location, the staff are very helpful and friendly, the decor is homey and cozy and the room was VERY clean and comfortable! The breakfast is a simple Continental, but very well stocked. Overall I will be staying here again and again when I visit New Paltz.
Nice hotel for my 1 night stay. Visited new Paltz college for a bball game. Nice restaurants in the area. And hotel was clean with friendly staff. Free Breakfast was great.
What a lovely privately owned hotel. The woman at the front desk was as pleasant as can be. The rooms are small but very comfortable. The bathrooms look recently remodeled. We are pleased with our short stay.
