Contrary to Mr. McSockston’s review (maybe he’s thinking of when some of the staff went to another of their locations, in the midst of the storm, to make sure all of their tenants made it out safely because it was right by the Swannanoa River which, at the peak of the storm, was wider than 3 football fields in some areas?), ABVI came in clutch and saved me from being homeless after Hurricane Helene. There is no Housekeeping service. Have to take bedding to the office to get clean bedding. Have to make beds yourself. Trash has to be carried uphill to a dumpster about 300-400 feet away. Many guests don't have cars to make it easier. There are also a lot of bears around

So people know what the businesses they patronage like to act like during a crisis: in the chaos post Helene these guys are trying to kick out long term guests onto the street with no warning from a building that was luckily largely undamaged.
