First, the room stank, very musty, Room was advertised with a king bed and separate sitting area. What it was was a couch squeezed in between the bed and the wall with no room to walk in between. I moved the bed over to give room to sit and there were beer bottle caps and jelly beans on the floor. There was dirt and sand on the dresser. My 9 year old daughter grabbed a small hand towel while brushing her teeth and when she opened it, there was lipstick smeared in it. Crack hotel with illegal drug activity. Avoid at all costs
While in town for a Christmas party we stayed out a little too late so we didnt wanna take a chance on driving the 2 hours back home so we decided to stay here....Be advised that all the signs at the hotel and around the hotel now say AMERICAS VALUE INN.....I know why...........The hotel is AWFUL! Our first room smelled like cat piss....We requested another room and while it smelled a little better it still had an odor to it. I took my family to the Zoo. We arived the night before and looked for a local hotel. Ramanda Inn,West Columbia was only 1 mile from the zoo road entrance. At the time they were renovating the rooms. We had a great room with pull out couch for the little kids. Plenty of channels on the TV. Not just a few basic cable channels like some hotels. I think there were about 60+ channels to choose from.
