The worst experience ever!! I came today excited to pick out glasses with my son because I’ve heard nothing but great things. We walk in and the woman in the front didn’t even acknowledge us because she was too busy texting on her phone. Not until I asked her where the kids glasses were she said something to us. Then after awhile a man comes out and sits at the desk. We choose glasses and then head over to him since we didn’t get any interaction from the first person. Second time coming here and I always wait 45 minutes to be seen. They probably shouldn’t schedule appointments so close together if they are having people wait this long to be seen at baseline. Otherwise it’s fine, a very quick visit once actually being seen by the provider.

My husband and I have been very happy with America’s Best. Greg has been a major reason for that happiness. He really takes his time to make sure our glasses our done right. I also trust his opinion on which style and color frame best suits my face.This time, Greg had to make a few phone calls to get an insurance coverage issue figured out and he remained calm during the entire process. Always a pleasure to work with Greg! Also had a good experience with the lovely young woman who did the pre-exam and with the doctor.

We visited the Apex, NC location in 12/2024 multiple times. We selected them as they were in my husband's vision plan. During the first visit, my husband saw the optometrist. The doctor was running late as he was eating lunch when the appointment began. My husband has low angle glaucoma and uses prescription eye drops which the optometrist told him he did not need to use (we disregarded this advice as they were prescribed by an opthalmologist.) I’ve been a loyal customer of America’s Best for several years, purchasing glasses and contacts for both myself and my children. Up until today, my experiences have always been positive. However, when I went to pick up my glasses, I was informed by a staff member that I couldn’t receive them because the optician had called out. I respectfully expressed that the absence of an optician should not prevent me from simply picking up glasses that are already paid for and ready.
