Hello My husband bought several pair of prescription glasses at america’s best linden. When you speak to them in the phone they are all nice and professional but in person wow they change. We went there yesterday august 16 2026 to see if they could put lenses in our glasses keep in mind we were there 4 months ago spent 450 dollars for glasses frames prescription everything exam so we thought we did it all but to our dismay they told us they would not use our glasses they would not take the chance they were so rude obnoxious ... read more
Very disappointing experience at America’s Best in Linden. I paid $125 for bifocal glasses for my father, but they were made for reading only. I specifically requested bifocals and was told that it was my fault and that I would have to pay another $240 for the correct lenses. Instead of taking responsibility, they blamed me. Very frustrating and unacceptable customer service.
America’s Worst. I walked in for my appointment, and as I gave the receptionist my insurance card, she immediately handed it back to me and said “This is Cigna.” I explained there is information on the back for EyeMed, which they do accept. She looked it up, and told me my insurance is inactive. I knew it wasn’t - I even verified that it was active through the insurance app. I asked her if there was a way to verify my insurance another way, I would’ve never asked if I was unsure.
