We approved a quote for AC repair and he took it upon himself to add more repairs than requested without approval. Would not answer phone calls or text messages when vehicle was ready and needed to be picked up. Very poor communication. Took two trips to pick up vehicle while he said he was at shop and would not answer phone or door. Lost our business and will never use again.
Seemed to have a good skill set in running diagnostics. Poor communication skills, poor customer service. Initially took my truck in, didn't tell me he wanted to keep it over the weekend. Made a later appointment and he still didn't have his smoke machine to finish a complete diagnostic. Left my truck with him Monday night didn't get it back till 11pm Tuesday night. It was a little different of an experience but overall has to be 5 stars. Noticed a pretty substantial amount of oil leaking out of an older VW Eurovan engine at about 11pm. Called the office, got an answer and someone knowledgeable about my situation to help me as I had already searched quite a bit of my own online and had an idea of what was going on but wasn't 100%. Jarrod is an exceptional human being and an excellent mechanic. I am new to the area and did not know who to call when my 1999 Lexus sedan would not start one morning. I found Americas Auto Center through Google. Jarrod, the owner, recommended a towing service, which was also stellar, and within 2 hours my car was in his shop.
