I am filing this complaint against American Woodmark/Hampton Designer Series for misrepresenting the ******* Cloud cabinet color and failing to take responsibility. I purchased these cabinets through ********** after being assured by multiple employees that the color was cream. The catalog cover shows a cream-colored kitchen with a green island and gold hardware. The in-store sample also appeared cream when compared to gray options. Save yourself a headache and money. These are incredibly poor quality. Think cheap computer desk from ******* with most of the body being particle board with a cheap veneer. My mother bought these to replace the existing cabinets which were dated in appearance but by far superior quality. Many of the boxes weren't even squared up. To sum it up just think of any and all possible flaws and you will be right.

American ***************** had the exact color of cabinets I wanted. After lots of research and only seeing tons of negative reviews I struggled with really wanting these cabinets. I decided to take a chance. So glad I did. They arrived in a timely manner. All were absolutely perfect with the exception on one that had a small flaw. American Woodmark cabinets are garbage, including everything from materials to quality control. 2023 saw us endure a nine-month ordeal to get the kitchen cabinets we paid for, though in the end, not the originally selected design. The most critical problem was that approximately 50% of the doors on our upper cabinets came warped. The doors were bowed up to 1/8” in the center. Poor customer service and poor craftmanship! I ordered cabinets through a local company. The brand is **********-American Woodmark. I ordered the cabinets on 6/29/22 and we knew that it was going to take ~13-18 weeks to receive the cabinets. The cabinets arrived on 10/3/22. Our contractor came to the home on 11/9/22 to install the cabinets. The color of the cabinets is Biscotti Glaze-Windsor is the type of cabinets I ordered. Our white kitchen cabinets were delivered on 3/16/20. 3 drawers were delivered chipped. They sent replacement fronts and we were responsible to do the work. I was afraid that the same would happen to the other cabinets eventually. Sure enough, most of them are now chipping after 2 years. I wrote Vicky from V2 Design from Northbrook IL several times and I wrote American Woodmark. American Woodmark committed to come to my home and see the problem but they never did. This company makes shenandoah cabinets, which i bout for my kitchen remodel. They are very poor quality. There are pieces of wood in the corners that are there to stabilize the place where the countertops connect, and stabilize the over sturdiness of the cabinet. This piece was literally not connected on most of the cabinets, ws floppy in some areas, and missing in one. Also, several of the cabinets are not plumb at the joints of the panels. We had ordered stained Pantry cabinets in October 2020, the cabinets arrived the week of Thanksgiving, and to our disappointment, the workmanship of these cabinets was very poor, the stain was off from front to side, there were scratches. I took pictures and sent them to the salesman we worked with at HomeDepot, he agreed they were bad and had AWC send replacements, the second set of cabinets came in worse shape than the first; multiple scratches, poor staining blemishes, and someone had stained over a piece of tape which cr... read more

I would not recommend the Waypoint line of cabinetry. We originally had our cabinets installed in June of this year and still do not have a completed kitchen. We have had cabinets, doors, etc arrive damaged and even in the wrong color. Trying to get a replacement piece in a timely manner is not important to this company. If you try to call the company, they are of no help and only refer you back to the dealer you bought the cabinets from.
