You guys have made ferret experts such as myself feel upset because you guys are supporters of routinely mutilating (de-scenting) them as an attempt to reduce odor, when it's actually not reducing their odor at all. They unfortunately support/recommend routine deglanding ferrets in their "selecting a pet ferret" article, which is cruel, pointless and unethical. This does nothing to reduce ferret odor, according to the American Ferret Association. I used to support them, but this upsets me very greatly. It's also hypocritical because they oppose ear cropping but not this :/
