Horrible conduit running, they pulled apart conduits with line voltage in them so they didn’t have to run 20’ of conduit themselves. Ran wire through LB covers. Demo was in the scope of work and they hardly did anything. Didn’t follow plant Saftey rules even when confronted several times. Wouldn’t recommend American underground to anyone.
AU did a network remediation project for our plant and it was a frustrating experience. Several instances of situations where substandard materials were used and a lot of subpar work. Employees continually had to be coached to wear PPE and follow standard industry safety practices. They could not be bothered to clean up messes, properly seal openings, or even park in designated spaces. Worst of all, bringing these issues to the contractor did nothing to curtail the behaviors.
