I’ve been a patient for a little over a year now, and at first, my experience was great. I had a therapist and a psychiatrist, and all was well. My therapist was nice, but I didn’t feel comfortable enough talking with her, so I requested another therapist. I was doing online calls, and I missed one appointment (she did not contact me; I got busy with school), and just dropped me as a patient. I’ve been a long time client of ATN 4+ years and they suddenly without any notice closed for good this week! I had to go up there to see what was going on bc no one was returning my phone calls only to find out they went bankrupt the day before. Again NO NOTICE! extremely disappointed in this company that I shared so much of my life with….
This is the text I received less than 24 hours before my appointment. The company is switching over to recovery only with hardly any notice. I was told about a month ago that it was a "possibility". I was given two places that accept my insurance, one of which isnt accepting new patients because of the influx of new patients and the other only doing therapy for previous addicts and no psychiatry. Trash. Won’t contact you at all about groups not happening, won’t call you back after they say they will, won’t let you know if a ride is moved or not happening.
