I ordered the 3 pack of permanent adhesive refills from Amazon. Once the refill is placed into the applicator the adhesive will advance but the non stick portion of the tape comes out and doesn't retract. There is no way to fix the issue; had to throw it away. I'm afraid to try the next refill because I'm sure the same thing will happen. It was a waste of money. Very disappointed in this product. The sad thing is that my friends have had the same issue. I will try to call Tombow and see what they suggest.

Their MONO 6H Graphite Drawing Pencils may have been made for drawing artists but they are also the cat's meow for marking construction materials of any kind (wood, ceramics, and especially concrete). They don't tend to break and they stay sharp for most of the day's work!
