Does not know how to complete the sale of the home. After American Title COMPLETELY forgetting the documents at notary for the wire transfer (which we had to ask for, they still did not know how to do the wire transfer.) Are you kidding me...you have 1 job. Then the person back peddles, tries everything to get me off the phone. Awful title agency. Avoid doing business at all costs. They inaccurately returned earnest deposit without being able to site a law they could site as to why they would do so.
I got a letter from the Sheriff saying my mobile home was going to be seized for unpaid taxes. After 2.5 hours and speaking to 3 people in 3 different county agencies, I found out that American Title left my mobile home in the name of the seller I bought it from with an address other than home property so personal property tax due for the mobile was left unpaid and I was unaware of it. I paid my county property tax when I got the bill and wasn't aware the trailer had a separate tax as personal property tax. Apparently, a mob... read more
