This company claims that they have a Buy 3, Get 1 free deal on tires, but it's nothing more than a bait and switch tactic to get you to purchase more expensive tires, or to purchase the ones you were looking for, but at full price and not at the promo price. DETAILS: I initially called America Tire Depot located at ***** CA-***, Indio, CA ***** on 08/28/20 and spoke to Eddie (store manager) regarding installation of three tires and a wheel alignment. I informed Eddie that I would be driving the vehicle the following day (08/29/20). After leaving the vehicle at the facility and picking it up a approximately 5 hours later, and paying the 160.00 bill, I walked out to my car to inspect the vehicle. I bought some tires here and the guy told me in order to fit the tires I wanted, I had to buy a lift kit and they would charge me 149 for the kit and 150 to install so I said yea go ahead , I payed 1,600.00 for everything and a while ago I took my truck to a mechanic and he said ( hey I'm sorry to tell you but there's no lift kit in in this truck , this truck has everything factory) I went back to American tire depot and the guy kept telling me excuses that they use different lift kits and yada yada , I do have my receipt an... read more
American Tire Depot was running a promotion in January 2017 for 4 tickets to LEGOLAND if you spend $700. The store manager told me about the promotion suggesting if I spent $40 more I would be eligible. Since we have a young grandson who we could take I spent the extra $40 to qualify. We went on line and submitted our request the next day, January 28, 2017. It is now May 26, 2017 and we are still waiting for the tickets! Horrible experience ,Still waiting for my refund for almost 3,000.00 dollars for 2 months later. They put huge tire's on my truck,Truck could not turn a corner,scrapping the wheel rim. Trying to deal with them is impossible. Now they won't answer my phone calls.
On Friday September 23, I made an appointment for the next day 24th with the gentleman that answered the phone and when I asked him how long would it take for an oil change he said 1 hour we should have you in and out. Saturday afternoon at 12pm I walked in after work and checked in and gave a man my keys and filled out all the paperwork and he said ok we will work on your car.
