This place is absolutely wonderful. I have 2 children that have attended this academy for 3 years thus far. Besides learning self defense, children are taught confidence, discipline, and determination. They have made friends here and consider members of the dojo as another family. I would highly recommend.
Excellent Martial Arts Instruction – I have been associated with this Dojo for over ten years. The students and the families of the students have learned important life skills and discipline from the different classes this school offers. I would recommend this program to anyone who is looking to learn how to protect themselves and be part of a team.
Sensei Pat and her instructors all work hard to make the dojo a fun learning experience. Both children and adults learn traditional styles such as Shotokan, Aikido, Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu, Kobudo, and Yoga. Cardio and Plyometric classes are also offered. Daily Herald readers choose American Tiger Karate Academy "Best Chicagoland Martial Arts Studio 2009" This is a highly recommended Dojo. :)
