Took a 5 minute, 1.5 mile drive and was fraudulently charged $75. Don't answer when I called to resolve
Got a ride from airport with Zack and arranged for hotel pickup in 2 days. Confirmed with Zack the day prior. However at the time of the pickup Zaxk was MIA and he did not respond to text or calls. There seem to be multiple locations for this business. My driver was Zack, all communication waswith him and the business card number is 504-975-5755.
THREATENED AND FOLLOWED by driver #1677 - At 5:25pm Saturday 01/02/16 taxi # 1677 sped through a red light in front of Lakeside Mall, traveling westbound on Veterans, and missed hitting my car by inches; it was only by slamming on my brakes and severely swerving that I missed a very bad accident. The reason no one can get a hold of this company is because all the calls are being forwarded to my personal phone line! If you are able to flag the company taxi down, PLEASE tell them to check their call forwarding!
left wallet in cab #0072...have been calling for 4 days and no reply to my voicemails. To make it worse, i SAW the same cab again and ran after him trying to flag him down - he completely ignored me. Terrible customer service.
#1256 is my hero.....this guy picked us up late night after Orpheus Ball and was a godsend......I left my handbag in the car and didn't realize until next morning. The driver called me and came to ME on Mardi Gras day (uptown!!!) to return what i foolishly (and desperately needed) left behind. God Bless!!!!!
been calling for 3 days about a cellphone i left in one of there cabs and have not heard from them. Can't leave message . KP 5043388991
I would not use this taxi service. I left my wallet in one of their cabs. I called at least 50 times and left numerous messages. No one would return my calls. Let's just say I never got my wallet back. Do not use!!!
Original American Taxi was late - I called dispatcher and she was wonderful Very concerned about me making my meeting on time. She called a supervisor who rushed right over and took me to my meeting. Supervisor returned promptly at the end of my meeting and took me to airport. Excellent service.
