I tried to cash a check for an employee.. Not only do i have a business account, i also have a personal savings account and they STILL want to charge me $5 to cash a check signed over to me. I have accounts at 3 other banks... none of them would try to charge me $5 to cash a $150 check when i have 10’s of thousands in accounts at their bank. Ridiculous
There is nothing that I would recommend about this bank. Poorly run service as nobody knows anything. You are being shifted from one site to another, deposits get rejected or placed on hold with zero explanation. Refused accounts unless you are part of the local " Good ole' boys club"! They are anti business for new companies especially for women run businesses. RecommendedI've been banking with American State Bank Iowa at least since I started college. They've offered me excellent customer service and good interest rates on my Rewards Checking account. I just got a home loan through them (in March 2020) through the Sioux Falls office and it was a very easy process with really competitive interest rates and fees.
