Just sold my boat with the help of Jacques. He made it so easy - managed my expectations and handled everything. This after many years of servicing the boat before trips. With his care we never had any mishaps. My boat was 33 years old when I finally gave up the keys, and we had absolutely nothing but great experiences. Thank you, Jacques for the care and feeding of some great family memories.
Took boat in for a damaged prop. Fair pricing, fast service, and very knowledgeable.
Charged $200 wanted cash for 15 minutes of work. Said I needed a full restoration. Went to Belmont boat works for a second opinion and got a completely different outcome. Parts that American star said were bad were perfectly fine, just dirty but fine. Guy is a crook.
No answer, no callback. Just to be clear my rating is in the middle due to no interaction and I have not used the service.
Waited 2 months for appointment. Got their. "Don't have tool to fix". Sent me on my way with recommendation. Don't waste your time. Don't waste your time. It will be your own fault.
