Extremely Shoddy installation, we had to hire Total Construction Company to come and show the installers from American stairs the proper way to screw the stairs in place so the stairs would not collapse. The hand rails were not screwed into the studs and pulled out of the walls. The strings on one section of stairs were almost completely cut away when all that was needed was a 2.5” x 3.5 notch to notch around a top plate of a wall below the stair case.
