Beware of SCAMS AND FRAUD committed by Blake A. Krumme of American Sliding Door and Window. He contracted to replace interiors doors for $800 but disappeared with the money without doing any work. I feel it necessary to warn the community about Blake Alan Krumme, owner of American Sliding Door and Window. I did a remodel of my home and hired Blake to install barn doors in my home, to close off my game room so as to reduce the noise from the games/tv. Blake rarely showed up on time, if he showed up at all. He turned my garage into a workshop, leaving metal shards/shavings everywhere (ever try to remove a Metal splinter from a child's foot?). American sliding door and window did a wonderful job with a new frame-less shower door this week. And he had the door ready to install and installed it in less than a week.\nWhen Blake came out I was not sure about what options I had. Blake went over several things with me and suggested some ideas , and then he went started measuring while I was thinking about my options. We has American sliding door and window come out and install 3 mirrored closet doors and a new aluminum sliding patio door.They all turned out really well . American sliding door did a very good job and even did all of the finish inside and out for the patio door. We had a few estimates before we talked to Blake and they all wanted to install those cheap plastic doors, and nobody wanted to do any finish molding without charging an arm and a leg for it.
