I have been the owner of a number of campers and have had many interactions with RV repair shops and mobile services over the years. Many of them are shady, opportunistic, and a number are flat out dishonest. So it was a pleasure to meet Dave, the owner. He is professional, honest, and very good. He was fair with pricing and was very good at advocating on my behalf with Insurance. I can't recommend American RV highly enough. I am glad to have found them. Dave is solid! Man, I needed a one-day turnaround that turned into two. He got me road ready, worked my fuses that were out, and even made runs to get parts to button us up. This dude knows his stuff, does absolute quality work, and couldn't be cooler if it was snowing.
You will not find honesty or integrity at American RV. On March 12th, after reading great reviews and a personal recommendation, we contacted Dave Miner of American RV. Our slide out wasn’t working properly. Dave diagnosed the problem as a faulty motor/gear box (not actuator) needing full replacement. On April 8th those repairs were completed under our extended warranty and we/extended warranty were charged $1491.47. The receipt clearly stated that he installed a Venture slide out motor gear box assembly 18.1, part number 29... read more
