They rent faulty equipment and make you purchase a damage waiver and then charge you and keep your deposit for "damages". The problem was shown to their employee when the equipment was dropped off. He acknowledged the problem and said the last customer that rented this equipment had the same problem. When we tried to address the issue with A&R, they would not return our calls. This is a very disreputable company! Do not recommend giving them your credit card information!!! Called to cancel a container same day as reserved. They had already charged my card! Requested a full refund per their policy. Called a month later to inquire about refund. They apologized and said it would be refunded within 5 days. Another month - still no refund. Finally had to dispute the charge with my credit card issuer.

I called American Roll Off, paid for my dumpster rental, had it delivered on 5/1 for a 10 day rental. I was called on 5/13 to verify that I did not need the dumpster any longer and that it would be placed on the schedule for pick up. Given the 72 hour agreement, this dumpster should have been picked up no later than 5/16, end of day. I've been pretty patient and began calling to verify that it would indeed be picked up on 5/16, and have now called 5 times to find out what is going on.
