The staff has always been friendly and accommodating. The facility is clean and welcoming. I encourage everyone that is able to check out this center and make a donation.
This work is extremely important. I have donated 3 times, been turned away several others due to pulse. However, I will keep supporting them. They've always treated me with respect, even when they must turn me away. If you give blood you should be prepared for if they cannot accept it. Regardless, there's such a good mental feeling when you donate blood. It cannot really be described.
I'll never give blood to the American Red Cross. Made an appointment, waited almost an hour after the appointment to give to find out I'm ineligible due to a bogus reason. 2 times since they have begged to get me to donate they have tossed me after waiting a hour. Not again.
