Just the fact that they’re available gets them all the stars. Blood is needed everywhere all the time regardless of crisis. And they’re always there to help.
They're awesome! I had a fire under my trailer and couldn't stay there anymore. They gave me a debit card for a motel. There was a problem with the debit cards here in town (bad batch), so Tina, who lives 30 miles away, drove on icy roads to bring us the cards! Over and above, especially since she doesn't get paid. I'm very grateful for their help!
I've been a volunteer since 2005. It is a very good experience.
