It’s sad when you want to give blood and they make it almost impossible. People are on call not everyone can make a month away appointment. This has been going on for months. Someone so In need of blood just turns down people.
My family was one of those affected by the fire on February 18th on 629 2nd ST Harrisburg PA 17113, since then the MOST help we received was from neighbors giving clothes and things. Red Cross only gave us a gift card and shunned us away. The Salvation army did their best and paid for a week's stay at a hotel & vouchers to thrift stores. Great location for the BLS course. Ample parking in the back. Fenced in for safety. Good training atmosphere. Certification issues to your email immediately after the course. My group was 10 people. Pretty much 3 miles off the I 81 exit. Easy access for the drive over.
