We recently purchased a home with a septic system that was originally installed by A1 Plumbing, but serviced under contract by American. During our inspection, concerns were raised about the placement and quality of the installation. A second, septic provider confirmed that the system appeared to be improperly placed and would likely need to be replaced entirely. The previous homeowner still had an active service contract with American, and arranged for them to perform a reinspection. The technician assured us that everythin... read more

!!Buyer Beware!! When I was selling my house, I hired American Pumping Service to perform the septic inspection. I had planned to watch the whole process but was called away by the realtor before the lid was removed. When I got back, the lid was off and what looked like a fresh, 1" hole was present in the tank wall right above the drain line for the leach field. Their tech Richard is great. The office manager Robin is very unprofessional and yells instead of having a conversation. Numerous paperwork problems that Robin would not answer regarding NMED, she would rather yell and say get your own records, they are public record.

Horrible service. Septic was replaced 2 years ago and failed when asked for a warranty check and got charged for a full inspection and pump due to lack of communication within the company. On top of that they put a lean on the house to prevent it from selling. Don't recommend really unprofessional!
